BEQUEL Training Activity: Benchmarking in e-Learning for VET providers

The BEQUEL team met in November 2021 for a 3-day training activity in Greece and partly online to prepare the development of a benchmarking tool for VET providers to measure the quality of their eLearning practices.

The activity was the opportunity to introduce the project staff to existing quality frameworks in eLearning in VET education in partner countries - Slovakia, Greece, Spain and Italy - and at European level. Participants discussed the EU Digital Education Action Plan, DigiCompOrg and the SELFIE tool, among other frameworks.

Part of the Training Activity was dedicated to the BEQUEL benchmarking methodology and benchmarking questionnaires for VET providers, which will be the basis for the benchmarking tool for quality assurance in eLearning. A workshop was organised to invite participants to exchange and contribute to its development. The tool is currently under development.
